Utility AI configuration as fuzzy logic rules (talk at Game Industry Conference 2022)

Utility AI is a technique gaining more and more popularity in gamedev. It gives developers a lot of freedom in defining complex behaviors. However, too much freedom can be overwhelming and complex utility systems can be hard to reason about. In this talk, Rafał Tyl proposes a systematization of Utility AI design process by drawing parallels between tree-like utility evaluator structures and clauses in fuzzy logic (given some limitations).
